Learn Vedic Meditation in Melbourne - Tranquillity Naturally
What is Vedic Meditation?

You’ll be relieved to discover how simple Vedic Meditation can be — even for a busy mind. It’s a gentle, natural and effortless technique grounded in ancient Vedic wisdom that provides deep rest, dissolves stress, and improves your overall wellbeing — both mentally and physically.
Practised for just twenty minutes, twice a day, its design fits easily into modern life — no sitting in uncomfortable positions, no apps, or lifestyle changes required.
Unlike many other techniques, Vedic Meditation doesn’t require concentration, mental effort or analysis, changing or stopping thoughts. Instead, it works with the natural tendencies of the mind and body rather than against them.
The power of this practice lies in its simplicity, effortlessness, and systematic approach.
It’s taught in person over four days, with lifetime support, and is suitable for almost anyone — regardless of experience or background.

Why learn to meditate?
“Your true essence is one of peace and happiness. Stress is what gets in the way of experiencing this natural state”
Shri 1008 Mahamandaleshwar Maharishi Vyasanand Giri Maharaj, Thom Knoles
People come to meditation for many reasons — some seek relief from stress, overwhelm, or a busy mind; others want to enhance their wellbeing, and some are drawn to experiencing deeper peace and connection.

Whatever your reasons may be, neuroscience shows that consistent meditation changes brain structure and function for the better — promoting emotional stability, mental clarity, and greater resilience.

Stress has increasingly become a global issue, affecting everything from mental health to physical wellbeing. We often don’t realise how deeply it permeates our daily lives until we feel overwhelmed. Vedic Meditation offers a natural and effective way to manage stress — not just as relief from stress, but as a significant preventative strategy to stay balanced and resilient over time; and not by forcing positive thinking, but by releasing the underlying stress that keeps the mind and body in a reactive state.
